INFINITT recognized for “Broad Portfolio” of Imaging IT Solutions, Ongoing Product Development and Versatility in 2016 KLAS Report*
Phillipsburg, NJ—April 14, 2016—INFINITT North America, an award-winning developer of enterprise image and data management solutions for healthcare, announced today that the new KLAS specialty report, IMAGING IT LANDSCAPE 2016 ENTERPRISE PLATFORM: THE NEXT NIRVANA?, praises INFINITT for development of new technology and strong performance. The report, released April 5, 2016, compares vendor performance and calls INFINITT an up-and-comer “ripe to disrupt imaging marketshare.”
Providers are faced with the challenge of working more collaboratively with disparate products across a variety of segments, the report state. “To meet this challenge, some organizations have opted to partner with a single vendor who can meet their broad imaging IT needs in seven key areas: cardiology, hemodynamics, image exchange, PACS, RIS, universal viewer, and VNA.”
The report calls INFINITT enterprise image management solution a “powerful, web-based PACS/ cardiology/RIS platform expanding into VNA and cites INFINITT as straightforward, easy-to-use technology with nimble development and strong integration as strengths.”
Although it has been difficult to arrive at consensus on what the term “enterprise image management” encompasses, KLAS researchers found “providers overwhelmingly agreed that vendor neutral archives (VNAs) and universal viewers are the bedrocks of enterprise imaging.”
INFINITT’s President and CEO, David Smarro, has seen the imaging industry moving in the direction of consolidation, and says that INFINITT is always trying to keep ahead of the technology curve to give its customers competitive advantage.
“Now we can offer the specialized tools clinicians need to have at their fingertips, on an IT platform that provides easy access to all types of images through the EMR. Radiologists and referrring physicians can view EKG’s, non-DICOM images for wound care, video and patient records to get a comprehensive view of the patient’s history and condition. An enterprise archive is key to this patient-centric healthcare model.”
INFINITT VNA offering, called INFINITT Healthcare Platform, is currently being implemented at several customer sites across the nation.
